Listening to the Ocean
Small Ceramic Dish SOLD Almost every summer we'd go to Hunting Island, SC; it was one of my favorite places to be. We'd pick up all kinds of shells to take home, but the large conches were the most important. If you closed your eyes and put the shell to your ear, you could hear the sounds of the ocean, even though you were hundreds of miles away. |

When placed together, these cups form one section of the Appalachian Mountain range.

Weekend in Kentucky
Set of Four Ceramic Arrowheads $10 My dad used to take my brother and I to his family's house in KY. Their neighbors had a large farm they kept every year. They usually allowed us to go arrowhead hunting in the freshly tilled earth-before crops were planted. Sometimes we'd find the special pieces of flint and stone and think of our ancestors. |
